The Canadian Swing Performance Team
The Canadian Swing Performance Team was created in Summer, 2004 for the purpose of doing
a demonstration at DanceSport BC's Robson Square Summer Dance Series. It serves to educate the public audience about West Swing Coast
Swing is, and make it seem more accessible to the learning dancer. For the team members, it serve to provide a chance to
be in the spotlight they might not otherwise have. Working on a routine is guaranteed to improve your dancing, as it forces you to work
on clarity of movement, control, timing, musical interpratation, focus, and environmental awareness.
The Canadian Swing Performance
Team has performed at Robson Square 2005, 2006 and Seattle's Easter Swing 2005.

"I have performed for thousands when they found me exotic, the vogue, daring. But I have danced at any given time, for about ten people...they
were the ones that left the theatre forever different from the way they were when they came in. All of my long, long life, I have
danced for those ten." - Ruth St. Denis
Sensual Feminine Movement Training
and Swing DIVAS Performance Team
Please inquire about joining the team and tuition.
We are proud
to offer this unique type of training to dancers and non-dancers alike. Tessa teaches women in a safe and private studio how to be
sensual, graceful, sexy, and elegant. Often referred to as pole dancing without the pole, or strip tease without the strip,
this material is not taught in this format anywhere in the city. The women get practical technical instruction on the physics and
the psychology of the movement, and a choreographed combination is taught to apply the concepts learned. Since starting in October,
this class has recevied rave reviews, packed event workshop rooms, and has given women and men alike a new confidence and body
awareness that they can apply to their dancing and to "other areas of their lives". There are optional performance opportunties
for their routines.
The T's Divas is not just a performing group, it's kinda like a sorority of sorts, a collective of women who want to get more out
of their dancing, be more self-expressive, more flexible, and more confident. It's for dancers and non- dancers alike. We focus onsensual feminine movement, but it's about more than just attracting the opposite sex - it's about being comfortable and confident
in your own skin, and being an object of desire and an object of envy. We will soon be adding some special features to our sorority,
special events, theme classes, and team work. Hope to see you soon!

"Learning to walk sets you free. Learning to dance gives you the greatest freedom of all: to express your whole self: the person you
are." - Melissa Hayden
"Upon checking your website to see your latest showcase video, (which is stellar), I can't tell you what a thrill it was to see our
latest pic's from the Taboo Show. I'm still cringing from critiquing my own personal performance, as the video is a brutal teacher,
but overall we were pretty damned hot. Thank you Tessa for the exposure and your kind remarks. It turned out to be a very positive
experience, and as a group we look forward to performing for a good cause, such as homelessness: "Raising the Roof." It makes it all
so worthwhile and we have you to thank for sowing the seed, germinating it and bringing us to fruition. Three cheers for Tessa the
Tiny and Mightily Talented. We have you to thank for sharing your vision, spurring us on and setting our collective wheels in motion.
Love,
Diva Terry."
